everything you put into your thoughts is processed and refined within you, and comes out as action.
When an action is repeated, it is called a habit. What other identity does a person have than what they see when they do it over and over again? In short, you are the product of your thoughts.
You cannot be healthy while thinking about illness. You cannot be friendly while thinking about loneliness. It is unthinkable to be rich while thinking about poverty.
Just because you entertain positive thoughts doesn’t mean you’ll get what you expect, but a negative or gloomy attitude keeps you from seeing good things even when they come your way.
In many ways, your experience-rejecting identity only comes to fruition when you think about it, decide to get used to it, and take a stand on your thoughts.
You can only learn to say no to useless things and say yes to good things when you take a stand for that and start to meditate on it. In other words, your being is only for your own sake, so be it!
