HOW TO BECOME A BETTER SPEAKER ๐Ÿ”Š

โœ… Before a person became a good speaker, he was a good listener;

๐ŸŒฑ A good speaker is born from listening a lot and listening with all his heart. Being a good and influential speaker is an art that is developed through education, practice, and process. The main techniques that attract people and ensure that our message is conveyed correctly are as follows:

Prioritizing listening (the first skill)
Be a good listener: Before we can be a good speaker, we must be a good listener. When we understand people’s needs, feelings, and thoughts, what we say will make sense.

Understanding people’s hearts: Understanding what people want to hear and what concerns them makes our speech more impactful.

Speech content and preparation
Being concise and clear in our speech makes us more influential. Clarity and brevity: Expressing our thoughts clearly and in words that people can easily understand without being complicated. It is better to choose fewer but meaningful words than to say more.

Supporting with evidence and examples: Using real stories, examples, or facts to make our speech convincing. Real stories have a great ability to grab people’s attention.

When we speak, we should not be a good speaker, but rather a solution-provider. When we speak, we should not lose sight of the main point: we should avoid boring the listener by going off topic.

The Art of Approach and Body Language
Eye Contact: Looking your audience directly in the eye when speaking shows confidence and helps establish a connection with the listener.

Change the Tone of Voice: Avoid speaking in a monotone. Raise or lower your voice according to the seriousness and lightness of your thoughts to attract attention.

Smile and Facial Expression: Displaying an open, friendly, and calm facial expression will help keep the audience engaged.
Psychological preparation
Confidence: Having sufficient knowledge about the topic you are talking about will increase your confidence. Even if you feel scared, you need to calm yourself down by taking deep breaths.

Authenticity: Speaking in your natural way rather than trying to imitate someone else. People understand authenticity more easily.

Continuous practice
Practice speaking alone: Practice by standing in front of a mirror or recording your voice on the phone before speaking.
Learning from mistakes: After the speech, it is important to self-evaluate which parts went well and which need to be improved.

๐ŸŒฑ In general, a good speaker is not only someone who can talk a lot, but also someone who can make his or her message clear, powerful, and convincing to the audience, and who can listen carefully to others.

A good speaker is someone who sees with their heart, not with their eyes, and listens with their heart, not with their ears.

May God give us understanding, wisdom, knowledge with love, Amen. God is my light and my salvation.
