This saying may seem simple but has a deep meaning; it teaches how to lead his life. Our lives are paid into three years: YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW. Each day has its own message and lesson.
Yesterday is past, it cannot be returned, and it cannot be changed. Yesterday was happiness, success, and mistakes and pain. Many people live in the past, regret the “what ifs”, or look at the past triumphs and regret today. But yesterday gives us only one thing—lessons. It is better to learn from our mistakes, not to live by them.
This is the true treasure we have today. Today, we can decide, we can start, and we can change. Life will be lived today; it requires ACTION, EFFORT and DECISION. It is not what we were yesterday, it is what we will be today that matters. Living today to the fullest means getting closer to your dreams even if it is just one step closer.
Tomorrow has never come, it’s not guaranteed, but it brings hope. The life we wish for tomorrow is built by the rope we stretch today. Everyone has a dream for tomorrow, but that dream only comes true when you work on it today.
So when they say life is three days;
Take yesterday as a lesson,
Embrace today as an opportunity,
Look forward to tomorrow as a hope.
Don’t buy yesterday, don’t delay tomorrow, live today, work today, change today. Real life begins today.
