Chapter One:

The saying “A man is what he thinks in his heart” encompasses not only the totality of a man’s personality but also all the circumstances and events in his life. Similarly, when we look at it, it is said that a man is what he thinks in his heart, and his character is the totality of all his thoughts.
Just as a plant does not grow without a seed, so every action of a man springs from the hidden seed of his thoughts; and apart from these thoughts, it cannot be manifested. This applies equally to things done intentionally as to things done accidentally and unconsciously.
Action is the seed of thought; joy and pain are the fruits of thought; and man gathers both the bitter and the sweet fruit from the field of his own thoughts.
What we have done is the thought in our minds,

We are made and constructed by thought,

If a man’s mind has bad thoughts,

as the cart is left behind by the horse,

sickness will follow him;

But for a man who lives with pure thoughts,

happiness will surely follow him like a shadow.

Since man is a being who grows by law and not by man’s artificial production, the causes and effects contained in the hidden thought framework occur perfectly and without deviation in the visible world and in material things.
Great and godly character is the natural result of continuous effort of right thinking and long-term association with godly thoughts, and does not come by chance or chance. Vile and inhuman character is likewise the result of continuous submission to bad thoughts.

Man builds and breaks down by himself; Man is making weapons of his own destruction in his own arsenal. He is making the tools needed to build a heavenly palace of happiness, strength, and peace. By choosing and implementing the right thought, man rises to divine perfection; by implementing the wrong and corrupt thought, he descends to a lower level of animality. All levels of character lie between these two extremes; and the creator and master of these qualities is man.
Of all the good things that are connected with the soul, there is no more delightful, effective, and reliable divine hope than this: that man is the master of thought, the designer of character, the maker and shaper of circumstances, environment, and destiny.
As the master of thought, man possesses the power, knowledge, and love, and as the master of thought, he holds the key to any situation.
It also contains within itself an organization through which it can transform and reform itself to do what it wants.
Man is always his own master, even in a weak and lonely state. But when he has fallen from his glory, when he begins to search for the law that will truly reflect the state of his house and on which his identity is based, he becomes a wise commander who directs his forces with knowledge and directs his thoughts on effective matters. A man can become such an active commander only when he discovers the laws of thought within him; but generally finding this law is a matter of practice, self-examination and experience.
Just as gold and diamonds are found by many searches and excavations, so man can find any truth about himself only by digging deeply in the mine of his soul; This means that man can truly be the creator of his own character, the architect of his own life, the builder of his own destiny; only when he can perceive, control, and change his thoughts, and when he can identify them through patient application and research in himself, in other people, in his own life, and in his own mind.
He also creates a way for himself to gain knowledge of his own wisdom and power by using any experience, even the most ordinary and everyday occurrence; the law “Seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you” applies here and in no other direction. Man can enter the temple of knowledge only through patient practice and unceasing effort.
