A sign posted in one of the shops in a large shopping mall caught my attention; it read:
” We will mend the heart; we will heal “
Out of curiosity, I entered the shop and was greeted with a smile by an elderly man who saw me reading the message over and over again.
They smiled and said, “Yes, I will fix the heart, and I will heal…” Then they said, “Hold my hand and come closer…”
They placed their right ears near my heart and listened attentively. Then they said:
“Your heartbeat is a little fast… My child, don’t worry, your treatment is simple.”
We will treat you here. The heart will be treated according to its type, because hearts have many forms.
“What do you mean? Can you explain it to me?” I asked.
After looking at me carefully, he said, “I inherited the knowledge from my father, and my father inherited the knowledge from his father, so let me explain it to you one by one. In this world: – An open heart… A wounded heart… A sweet heart… A deep heart… A burning heart… A compressed heart… A broken heart… A healthy heart… A sick heart… A generous heart… An abundant heart… A proud heart… A happy heart… The list goes on…
“I came to you confused by the written text, and you have done a lot for me.”
He said as he flashed his teeth and smiled.
“My child, don’t worry, I have a cure for you and for all who come to me.”
“All who have tried have been cured by the will of God. Bring a pen and paper and write this down for me.”
Your supply has already been distributed, don’t bother chasing yourself.
Don’t panic, your fate is already written.
Your friend is weak, so don’t expect too much from him.
Don’t be afraid of your enemy, for he is weak.
Cleanse your heart from three things: hatred, envy, and hypocrisy.
Decorate it with three things: honesty, sincerity, and wisdom.
Let your heart hold three things: surrender to your God, love your Creator more than anyone else, and constantly thank your Creator in both your hardships and your joys.
Leave people to their Creator and focus on fixing yourself.
May you have three qualities: a tongue that remembers the Creator, a patient body, and an intelligent, wise mind.
Avoid three things: gossip, following people’s desires, and being with people who are not of good character.
Finding comfort in talking about others is a sign of spiritual loss.
“Take your medicine, for your healing is from your Creator.”
Thank you so much. I feel like I was reborn.
I headed home with his advice in mind. I knew I had to act on what I had been told. Perhaps through him I would find peace and balance in my heartbeats…
This is truly a wonderful philosophy of life. Let us reflect on these thoughts.
