The ancient philosopher Aristotle wrote: “Human beings are teleological organisms. This simply means that we are purpose-driven creatures. That is, we feel happy and in control of our lives when we have a clear goal that keeps us moving forward each day. Furthermore, setting and following through on our goals is one of the most important and essential life disciplines you can develop” (Trace, Page 86).
It is not said that this is the enthusiasm, happiness, and self-confidence that people who have a purpose in their lives, set goals in line with that purpose, and rally behind that purpose have. However, the number of people who practice this law of satisfaction with goals and purpose that the Creator has created and established in human beings is very small. If we want to know this, it is enough to consider the increasing number of people who are in the pain of confusion and not knowing what to do with their lives.
When a person knows his vision, purpose or goal of life, life itself takes him through an amazing cycle of focus and excitement. First, he is motivated by the desire to start the purpose within him. After he has started the path towards his purpose, he is also excited by the new things that the journey he has started will bring. As a result, the inner motivation to ensure its continuity gives meaning and excitement to his daily life. While experiencing this continuity, he also receives the desire to see and complete his purpose. Thus, a person moves from a life of aimlessness and boredom to a life of purpose-oriented happiness.
So, as we begin a new day, let’s begin the journey of change that we said we would change, let’s start implementing the actions that we said we would do, let’s start the movement to stop the stupid habits that we said we would stop. . . Let’s continue these things as we started them, let’s continue them and finish them !
