When you stop trying to convince everyone of your point of view
Life would be more peaceful. Many people spend a lot of time and energy trying to justify themselves, trying to defend their actions, or trying to change how others think.
But the truth is, you don’t need to do anything.
No one loses their own perspective. Some people will misunderstand you no matter how clearly you speak. Others will judge you even if they know the whole story. That’s just life.
But the good thing is that what they think has nothing to do with you. Their thoughts are a reflection of them, not yours.
The more you try to prove your worth, your truth, or your choices to others, the more anxious and frustrated you become.
Sometimes you may feel like you’re not good enough or that you always have to explain yourself, but that’s not you. You’re not here to meet everyone’s expectations. You’re here to live your life with peace and purpose.
Giving up trying to convince anyone doesn’t make you weak. You know your worth and you don’t need to seek the approval of others.
So let people say what they want; think what they want, but you don’t have to respond or explain. Focus your energy on your happiness and your goals.
Peace comes when you stop fighting for others to help you and start accepting that not everyone can help you.
